Abstract: The newborns with intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) are a significant proportion, approximately 30% of infants with low birth weight (<2500gm). This paper aims to highlight the link between the existence of certain risk factors and intrauterine growth restriction, as well as specific neonatal pathology.
