Abstract: The authors analyze comparatively (control- experimental variants) some morphological, biochemical and physiological features of the germination and development of seedlings in three species of
alimentary and fodder interest (Pisum sativum L, Triticum aestivum L., Allium cepa L.) under the influence of some biologically active substances (10-5M phenoxyacetic acid and 50 ppm ascorbic acid). Comparing the experimental data of the species taken into study, the applied treatments induce specifically metabolically modifications of different intensity which have repercussions on the seedlings morphology during the analyzed germination process.
